SMOOTH FULL-GRAIN LEATHER
Our handbags are crafted from high-quality full-grain leather. With time and use, natural creasing, softening, and a subtle patina may develop — a natural characteristic that adds to the leather’s character.
Most of the bovine leathers we use have a semi-protected surface, making them more resistant to everyday wear. Minor scratches may appear over time. Deeper marks can be softened with a neutral leather cream or a color-matched conditioner. Always test any product on a small, inconspicuous area first.
A small amount of baby oil may help soften light scratches and refresh the leather. Apply a tiny amount to your hands first, then gently spread a thin layer across the surface.
Avoid vigorous rubbing when cleaning. Leather bags should never be machine-washed or dry-cleaned. Dust and light dirt can be removed with a soft dry cloth, while small marks can be wiped gently with a slightly damp cloth.
For light-colored leathers, avoid contact with strongly dyed fabrics such as dark denim, which may transfer color.
Some leather elements are mounted on a structural foam layer to help maintain the bag’s shape. Avoid pressing them with other objects to prevent creasing.
When not in use, store the bag in its dust bag, ideally upright and lightly filled with paper to help maintain its shape.
WARRANTY
NOVINSKA handbags are covered by a 24-month guarantee.
If your handbag requires repair within this period, we will repair it free of charge in our Warsaw leather atelier, including hardware replacement and craftsmanship-related repairs.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse or accidents (such as punctures or cuts), natural wear of leather, softening of the bag’s structure, or stains and marks.
LIFETIME REPAIR SERVICE
We believe a well-made bag should last for years. Our repair service is part of our commitment to craftsmanship and longevity.
After the 24-month guarantee period, we continue to offer lifetime repair and refresh services in our Warsaw atelier for a service fee.
