NOVINSKA is a Polish brand of original handbags and accessories founded by designer Maria Nowińska. Since 2025, we have been making our pieces by hand in our Warsaw workshop, combining craftsmanship, timeless design and a commitment to quality.
NOVINSKA was founded by Maria Novinska with a simple intention — one that today might not seem enough to build a brand. It began with the desire to follow the heart and a passion for creating — not with calculation or a business plan. Structure and experience came with time.
Today the brand carries the story of that journey — at times challenging, marked by moments of doubt, but also by growth, determination, and a commitment to remain true to its values.
The brand also reflects a cross-cultural perspective shaped by years of living and working abroad — bringing together Eastern European roots with an openness to the world.

WARSAW STUDIO
IN-HOUSE PRODUCTION
In 2025, we opened our Warsaw studio and moved to in-house production — a true turning point. A decision that changed everything.
Together with other like-minded brands, we founded a cooperative workshop in Warsaw: a shared, innovative production model built on collaboration rather than outsourcing.
DURING THE PANDEMIC
BRAND RELAUNCH
In 2020, during the lockdown, while living in Kuala Lumpur, Maria Novinska made the decision to relaunch the brand.
After a period of creative and industry burnout, she felt the need to redefine not only the brand itself, but the way she wanted to build and run a fashion label — as it no longer reflected her vision.
The relaunch was about alignment — bringing the brand closer to who she is and the values she stands for.
CONCEPT STORE
WARSAW
In 2015, we co-created a concept store on Francuska Street in Warsaw — a prime location in the heart of Saska Kepa.
For three years, direct contact with clients refined our understanding of product, quality, and brand experience.
It was also a significant logistical challenge.At the time, the founder was living in Shanghai, while the store was managed remotely from abroad.

In 2005, Maria Novinska created the first NOVINSKA handbag.
Driven by true passion, she has since designed hundreds of original models, continuously evolving over time.
Our bestsellers — including the iconic oversized merino leather hobo bags — helped define the trends of their era.
